FAÇA A SUA PARTE
Quando dele um jovem se aproximou
E lhe perguntou em tom de brincadeira
Quanto tempo ela dará frutos indagou
Talvez uns quinze anos vão demorar
Se for bem regada e com carinho tratada
Mas que vantagem o senhor vai levar
Se por você ela não será experimentada
Amigo, não faço isso pensando em mim.
Estou plantando para as futuras gerações
Mas aquele jovem não pensava assim
Agia egoisticamente desprovido de emoções
Aquele senhor estava fazendo a sua parte
E pelos seus netos ele será lembrado
Certamente quem o seu fruto reparte
Sabe que vai descansar sossegado
