Ao nascer
Sussurrando ouvi alguém,
Alguém dizer
Que pobre seria também.
Triste o destino
Que me foi traçado
Viver sentindo
A pobreza sempre ao lado.
Nascer pobre
Que sentença!
Viver com fome
Numa constante pobreza.
Vivo assim
Dia a dia, pouco a pouco,
Vivo assim
Sofrido, mas não sou louco.
Tenho a certeza
Um dia, vou tudo mudar,
Contra a pobreza
Continuarei a lutar.
