TRISTE ROTINA

A televisão apresenta na tela
Uma tragédia mostrada ao vivo
Um fogo incontrolável na favela
O contraste social é o motivo

Eu me coloco no lugar desta gente
Famílias pobres, mas muito honradas.
Perdem o pouco que tem de repente
Sem teto, elas ficam desesperadas.

Esses incêndios já se tornaram rotina
Condições precárias geram incidentes
Nesta hora a solidariedade predomina
Recebem ajuda de vizinhos e parentes

A comunidade sofre com esses desastres
Convivendo ao lado de bairros nobres
Em pleno século vinte e um esses contrastes
Contribuem para a disseminação dos pobres

Deus ilumine a mente dos nossos governantes
Para diminuir a desigualdade que nos assusta
Não queremos ver mais estes tristes flagrantes
Merecemos conviver em uma sociedade justa
