PARAÍSO

Árbol del recuerdo, yo quisiera
ceñido a tu tronco centenario
trepar hasta tus ramas que murieron
guardando en ellas mis recuerdos.
Quedó mi tiempo en el camino
y sin la ayuda de tu estampa centinela
sólo será sombra mi recuerdo
sin que sea presente lo que vivo.

De aquel despertado paraíso,
a este roble que hoy amo,
han pasado distancias y silencios
ocultos en los cuerpos viejos.
Si me ayudara a soñar yo llegaría,
envejecido, a la copa de este roble
y podría cobijado entre sus ramas
encontrar las del recuerdo.
