Broken dreams

I had wasted all my time
trying to break you
and your greatest dreams
to make myself believe
I was better and stronger than you.

Now, you're lost,
while I'm regretting
for leaving you alone
only with your broken dreams.

I'm feeling so miserable.
I know your sorrow
is all my fault.
I wanted to be better than you,
I only got to become worse
than I imagined I could be.

I hope you get
to rebuild your broken dreams,
I would never be able
to bear knowing that
I had destroyed you.
