Carved In My Heart

 

I don’t need any image, a photo, whatever…
For you’re already carved in my heart.

Every morning I open my eyes,
I greet the Heavens…
And when I look inside myself,
You’re there.

Your sweet face…
That’s the only thing I long to see
Every moment I wake up,

Your beloved voice,
That’s the delight of my soul
Deeply nail all of my thoughts
And I listen you,
And I don’t even need
To be hearing any song.

Photos, posters, signatures?
What for?!?
They won’t tell me anything
Won’t reveal not a single drop
Of what I yearn to know…

But maybe a couple letters
Could make easier this wait…
Because I’d feel you talking to me…

And I’d be close enough while I’m distant,
Because you’re already here…

Carved in my heart.
