How Long?

How long will this go on?
Fighting to free us away
from this trap we're in

You give in a little bit
and get caught again being
comfortable in our bouncing
ball state of unhappiness

Daily drugging your innermost
plan, desicions become a hallucination,
invisible only to take away escape
to freedom; to be with the one
you love

How long will I live in this blackout
All that I have are words to move
forward with your breath that fades

What moves the heart is sacrifice
I haven't seen that yet
Tell me really how much of
what you say is truth?

When I continue to fall into
your invisible arms; caught
under the same influence
I cheat myself from having
the ultimate love of invites
that have stopped by

Instead I close my eyes
falling back into the
black hole that we're stuck in.
