Waiting for us
We couldn't know
what was waiting for us.
We used to think
the world was ours.
But we've fallen,
we hadn't seen
what was really
waiting for us.
Nobody could know
what we had to face,
the darkness that
appeared to us.
And we needed to
get used to darkness
because we have been
deprived of light.
I can see clearly now
there was only darkness
waiting for us.
