Estavam sempre por ali
Pés descalços
Sem camisa e bermudas
Carregadas de areia
Chegavam com o nascer do sol
De onde vinham ninguém sabia
No descuido dos pescadores
Dentro do barco estavam
Em alto mar não economizavam
Trabalhavam
Escondidos se precisassem
Queriam aprender o ofício
Deixaram de ser meninos
De rua
Para ser meninos de mar
Garotos de praia
Garotos de mar
Muito pequenos
Brincando com os caramujos
Agigantam-se
Tornando grandes marujos
