A mística da poesia
Ah, se eu não fosse poeta,
Qual seria a minha meta?
Se eu não amasse a medicina,
Qual seria a minha sina?
Se eu não gostasse de gente,
Qual seria a minha frente?
Se eu não curtisse a música,
Qual seria a minha mística?
Ah! Mas se acaso me tornei poeta,
Porque ainda procuro a minha meta?
Se hoje eu conheço um pouco a minha sina
Porque ainda me encanta a medicina?
Se hoje eu vejo a muralha à minha frente
Porque ainda busco libertar a tanta gente?
Se hoje eu descubro a verdade na mística
Porque ainda me eleva esta música?
Mas, se a poesia fosse só uma alegoria
Como explicar tanta melancolia
Como extravasar tanta alegria
Simples arranjo de palavras-flores feito rima...
