ESTE DESEJO ARDENTE

Na minha vida longa vivo assim:
caminho, lado a lado, com um desejo.
Sinto-o, mas não o vejo.
Está dentro de mim.

Na minha vida longa e protegida
por algo que não conheço
nem provavelmente mereço,
sou Amor e sou Vida.

Na minha alma, um cenário abstracto,
que não reconheço meu,
paira no breu,
reina o desacato.

No meu corpo vive este desejo ardente.
Identifico mil coisas que não quero
e, por vezes, desespero.
Porquê esta presença ausente?
