PIRACAIA
Eu sou caipira, amo minhas raízes.
Sou caipira e não sou de Pirapora.
Todo mundo deve amar onde mora.
Eu tenho amor, saudade e cicatrizes.
Piracaia foi a cidade onde eu nasci.
Porém, Piracaia não me viu nascer:
o sítio era muito lindo para se ver
mas, a cidade não passava por ali.
Piracaia está no alto de um outeiro,
onde eu morei era uma ribanceira,
e ficava lá no Bairro das Palmerias,
e era longe da matriz e do cruzeiro.
Pertinho do rio, e à beira da estrada,
foi onde eu chorei de tanta tristeza,
O sítio morreu no fundo da represa,
quando cheguei, não encontrei nada.
