PARA CARU

Caru,
nunca lança espinho.
Caru é só amor,
é belo, é quem faz a flor!
Seu olhar muito caro,
transformado em carinho,
é livre, sempre vivo
e protetor.

Eu bem sei que carinho,
pode ferir num tempo só,
tal e qual grosso espinho,
que faz dor, que faz dó!
Mas, de Caru, só vem amor,
lambuzado de amora,
como sou, como agora,
como amora e dou,
enquanto mundo chora,
e cora,
assim eu vim,
e assim eu vou.

Ele vem do Cariri,
e consigo, traz calor,
cura a vida enquanto encanta,
jamais perde seu frescor.
Sempre, por aí afora,
anda, Caru,
manda, Caru!
Mandacaru és tu,
doce mel, paz de guru!
