O REGATO

Nem queira saber porque o vento chora,
enquanto a brisa passeia entre os ramos.
O vento traz a chuva que meu povo implora
para fertilizar o solo onde nós plantamos.

Nem pense em perturbar a prazerosa paz
querendo interferir na ventania abstrata.
Não ignore os frios arrepios que ela traz
ou a harmonia anímica que nos arrebata.

O regato canta feliz. Dizem que murmura...
Integra a natureza e a ela canta louvores.
Ele padece calado se por sua desventura,
não brotarem os frutos ao cair das flores.
