Afoga-te as mágoas no mar
Olhando todo o seu bailar
Espumas a descansar
A areia desfigurar
Melhor que as tristezas empurrar
Em um copo na mesa de um bar
Com a cabeça a pender, cambalear
Os passantes a lhe zombar
Afoga-te as mágoas no mar
Molha-te os pés, o corpo, o cabelo
Lava-te a alma ao abraçar
Lava-te por inteiro

Deixa a água do mar levar, limpar, purificar
Que e amo, pela fresquinha esse rejuvenescer em águas frias, do imenso mar.
