Novo Ano Velho
Novos amigos encontrei,
outros amores vivi,
outros poemas escrevi,
e por artes de certa Walkiria,
eu sei que vivi.
Mas já sopram os novos ventos,
que os tristes momentos
sucubam à fúria dos elementos.
E que os ternos sentimentos,
transpareçam em todos argumentos.
Que entre perdas e ganhos
em fatais dias estranhos,
sempre aponte a balança
para o verde esperança.
Pois agora é hora
de mudar o ano lá de fora.
E de guardar o antigo desvario
para que no espaço vazio
curse o novo Rio.
