VIRGEM MÃE MARIA
Sua imagem linda e bela
Quis o destino,
Três pastores presenciar,
Lugar cheio de luz,
Cova da iria começou.
Virgem mãe Maria!
Seu brilho foi enorme
Luzindo lá no alto,
O povo acorreu ao seu carinho,
Cabelos longos negros escorridos,
Pelos ombros caídos.
Virgem mãe Maria!
O penhasco seu altar
Onde todos pudessem admirar,
Vestindo um manto branco,
Com o povo rezando,
Todos, mais tarde lembrarem.
Virgem mãe Maria!
Toda vestida de branco
Outras vezes aparecer,
Naquele altar a rezar,
O povo cheio de fé,
Perdão á senhora pedir.
Virgem mãe Maria!
Entre muita lamentação
Pelo pecado nosso então,
Que no dia-a-dia,
Muitos se esquecem de rezar,
Pedindo paz, amor e pão.
Virgem mãe Maria!
Ilumine nossos caminhos
Que nos leve à crença e fé,
Para não estarmos sozinhos,
Como luz em nossos caminhos,
Nesta crença divinal.
Virgem mãe Maria!
Rezamos a teu pés
Virgem mãe Maria.
És fenómeno divinal,
Para todos afinal,
Foste o melhor,
Que aconteceu em Portugal…
