Vem o mar
A terra refrescar,
Vem peixe na água do Tejo,
Para nós o apanhar.

Vem pescador
Que foste e voltaste,
Por certo encontras-te,
Tudo aquilo que procuraste.

Com teu barco repleto
De esperança e alegria,
De mais um dia de faina,
Carregado de peixe.

Vem o vento, vem a sensatez
Vem tudo de uma só vez.
Vem o amor, vem a alegria
Vem a paz por este dia.

Esta é a tua paixão
Que nela entraste um dia,
Parece uma sina,
Profissão destemida.

Vem o encanto, vem o amor
Vem o corpo, vem a alma,
Vem o sofrimento na faina,
Vem a alegria no final desse dia…

Este poema reflecte o que passam os nossos pescadores durante a uma vida inteira.
Cada dia é sempre um esperança, por vezes vem a desilusão e a própria morte...
