M aria, simples mulher do campo
I mantada no chamado divino
L enço à cabeça sol a pino
A nda léguas tiranas a fio
G era o menino campesino
R osto queimado, olhos serenos
E stranha o sinal daquele anjo
D estemida, audaz, corajosa
O scila feito ampulheta, inquieta
A luta na roça, de muitas vidas severina
M aria de todos os nomes, das Dores, Flores
O menino que bole no ventre, que destino terá?
R eza e cuida temendo as dores, ela a escolhida.
