EPITÁFIO DE AGRADECIMENTO

Jazigo,
Jaz contigo
Não eu – te digo:
Só o casulo que me serviu de abrigo;
A armadura que usei para lutar contra o perigo;
O escafandro que me permitiu, no mar do mundo,
Sobreviver a este mergulho profundo;
O corpo denso,
Com o qual,
Ás vezes alegre às vezes tenso:
Amei, sofri,...
Chorei, sorri,...
Aprendi, vivi,...
Mas, ó Jazigo,
Sou grato a ti:
Última morada
Desse instrumento,
Que me serviu como um jumento –
Na chuva ou no relento.
