Daydreaming In Art-#3

He picked up his cane,

put on his derby and

walked passed the

oak tree on his front lawn.

The yellow taxi was waiting,

the night was calm, yet he

could hear the movements

of nature around him.

The artist sat sipping

a glass of  Angelica Liqueur,

One of his ex's was named

Angelica and he liked to

drink it for her.

The bartender was good to him,

and took time to describe the ladies.

His return home would be memorable,

the drinks would ease his loneliness,

his mind would daydream, his eyes

closing wispering her name, Jenna, Jenna,

I love you so falling into a deep sleep.

 Women were like exotic

fruits to him and he would add

some of the features the bartender

described unto his unfinished bride

when morning time came, thought he.
