Let me be myself

I must be real,
I have to live
so truly as 
someone can.
So, let me
be myself.

We cannot find
our place,
we're alone
and asking
if someone
will help us,
but we must
be who we are.

Let me be myself.
Don't force me to
please you or
someone else.

This place seems
so dark and cold,
everyday is 
a challenge,
I just want
to be loyal 
to myself.

discover my own way,
my soul, my self.
