Villain Lady-mini series

Legs down, toes pointed upwards, head resting
against the rail car door; sat the Lady.

She watched the roseate sky turn dusty red
and golden. To her, it had been
a moment unlike any other that she had remembered;
therefore a release of tears cascaded down her pudgy cheeks.

Beneath her mask was a visage of a child
asking for attention, she was remunating
on her recent past and uncertain future.

The train was now slowing down, arriving
at the yard and Villain Lady could see
rows of tall skyscrapers overlooking a bridge.

As the train began to break, the lady flung
her duffel bag on the gravel, looked both
ways to make sure no one was in eyes view,
climbed off, as a prowler, ducking and stooping.

She walked alone the river bank and found
a crab apple tree to rest her back on and
began to write down a list of things to do.
She began with writing a number 1 for get room,
number 2, find job, 3 contact Detective, but
then crossed it out with a heavy pencil mark.

Villain Lady thought out loud "So what if I
get in touch with him" just to hear the way
the wind carried the echoes of those words.
