O Recuo da Razão

O coração pulsa forte no peito,
Como se quisesse rasgar o corpo
E voar rumo ao infinito...

A alma ferida de jeito
Busca refúgio nas alturas,
No topo de um monte
Onde a ventania propaga um grito...

O coração dói,...
A alma grita...
O rancor corrói...
Mas o amor ressuscita!

No lugar onde foi ferido o coração,
Brota uma flor
Sem pedir permissão ou licença...
Por mais forte que seja a dor
Ou mesmo a decepção,
Persiste a ternura em invocar sua presença.

Que fazer com esta paixão cega e tola?
Sabe-se bem que não se pode mudar uma pessoa...
