“Manhã solitária”

A mil, meu peito, gritos de dor
Vontades de vento, jeitos de amar
Quando, na madrugada, me colho flor
Quebrando o orvalho que vou derramar;

- Que águas são essas? Pergunta a canção,
Em minhas costelas, abraçando o mar;
- São pérolas, Senhor; do meu coração;
Responde meu sal, prisioneiro no olhar

Se fossem, os lábios, soltar emoção
Eu seria o primeiro, para os acompanhar
Armado que vou, gotas de oração
Brotam, audazes, sorrindo para não chorar.
