O pastor da minha vila
Passa o pastor assobiando,
Atrás o cão, a ladrar…
Segue o gado pastando,
Que com cuidado anda a guardar;
Passa o pastor ansioso,
p’rao cão vai a gritar:
- Corre lá, oh bicho preguiçoso,
Não vá o gado tresmalhar!
Passa o pastor, sossegado,
Com o cão a acompanhar…
P’ra casa vai descansado,
Levou o gado a bom lugar
E eu… a vê-los passar…
