In Silent Prayer We Keep Hope Alive

A smile drawn on in the world of fire
where the vision escapes within the air we breathe
we look up without realizing we are standing in the palm of a hand
such an assumption to make where knowledge lives on in life, yet these shoes remain too heavy for step
the movement we keep where our hearts speak the same words
the silence engraved within the passage we seek
we have to prove that out honor is real and our strength won't let us down
but with each waking breath my heart grows weak
the pain in which I feel is enough to bring suffer upon the dead
yet the silent song we sing, gives hope to the tears in which we drown in
yet the peace we fight for is still a blessing to receive

we forgot the past image we held
where soon to come is the evil of karma
where faith is all that's left of shattered reflection
where hope is not yet ours, and victory we shall have in the dawn of light
where trials have an error, yet I still walk for the miles to come
the words place a rhythm in which each note is key
to repeat such a meaning where the pain shall never end
where the passing of an image once felt as it floats on by
the reason for attempt for the shadows cast emptiness within a will of each soul
where our hearts seek guidance and within cure we shall adore
for now I must stay within silent prayer, where our meaning protects the passage of each word
as for health I remain too weak, but for the grace that flows through my veins
I promise a brighter day, and yet the end that we shall meet
speaking words of wisdom, for these wounds are too deep
