O DESTINO DA GENTE
O povo grita e pragueja
contra um governo impudente,
que se desculpa, gagueja
e não quer saber da «gente»!
Da «gente»… pois! E não só!
Ó meu Deus, vê lá… tem dó!
Na mente dos governantes,
enfatuados senhores,
nós não somos relevantes…
nós somos só pagadores!
O pobre está habituado
a ser sempre o condenado.
Enquanto ladrões, à solta,
vivem à grande, à francesa,
duma forma que revolta,
a «gente» vive na pobreza
dum miserável ordenado,
espremido e descontado.
Estamos cheios de conversas!
Queremos acções diversas!
Avancem com demissões,
um após outro, que a «gente»
quer ter, em vez de aldrabões,
um governo competente!
