ARLEQUIM
Aquelas palavras outrora ditas,
aos olhos de um olhar refeito,
resvalam nos becos e avenidas,
não se acham cantigas perdidas
nem tão pouco um par perfeito.
Abrem-se as janelas restritas
a um belo e luxuriante jardim.
Prevalecem amores no canteiro…
O cheiro… Murcham paixões primeiro
muito antes de se deparar o fim.
Ouvem-se almas benditas,
mal digerido o falado nim.
Riem o Rei e toda a Corte,
foi eleita a Rainha consorte!,
chora para si o Arlequim.

Linda poesia, amores não se encontram em ruas ou vielas; em jardins encantadoes amores são aranjados, mas a paixão acaba muito antes do amor findar.
E o apaixonado ferido, chora, pois pobre Arlequim bobo da corte se transforma.
