O tempo que passou não volta, mas
também verão uma andorinha só não faz.
Sabe-se que é bom um pássaro na mão da gente
bem melhor que um ferro quente.

Basta você querer e terá tudo que quiser.
Não ter ambição é coisa de fraco;
mas, quem tudo quer
que a galinha enche o papo.

E ouça bem o meu conselho:
O esperto de ninguém tem dó.
Quer sempre matar dois coelhos
com uma caixa d’água só.
